A Fresh Beginning

I'm a grown up, and it's freaking me out a little.

I just finished college, moved to a new town, and am looking forward to starting a new job in a few days. It's amazing the freedom that I have now, but man there is a lot more responsibility than in college. I don't have a neat freak roommate anymore to do the little every day cleaning around the house, but I'm finding joy in doing those things for myself. I love having my own house so much, I'm still excited about taking the trash down to the curb!!

This is my lovely house. I'm not dating a cop, nor am I living with one. He lives across the street, and parks his car in my yard because there's not much room on the street. I don't mind at all, it's kinda like a free security system. I have a really big yard. It's almost like my house was built on the ally, because it's so far from the street. I'm lucky all the other houses on my block are RIGHT on the street!

I love that I'm so close to John-Paul. I've gotten to see him every day! It's such a treat after having a long distance relationship for 5 years. Hopefully we will get married soon, so I don't have to make him walk in the cold the 9 blocks to his dorm every night!

I can't wait to start working. I went to a informational seminar with my boss yesterday, and it was nice. Well, the seminar was boring and pointless for the both of us, but we got a free lunch, and I got to know my boss more. I will be starting on Monday. We will be doing the first pre-emergent treatment of the season. Keeping those weeds out of lawns all over the Tulsa Metro!!

Hopefully I'll find enough exciting things to post often!
